“D-Do I really need to go in there? It looks so scary…–”
Without even thinking about it, Hitoka tightened her grip on the males hand, nervously biting her lower lip. She really didn’t want to do it, but if the rest of the team was doing it, she would need to join even though she really didn’t want to.
“P-Promise not to let go…?”
Even though it was beyond embarrassing to hold his hand, she would ignore the pounding of her heart against her chest. Something warm beyond her own body was oddly soothing to her.
“We’re all going in, that’s why everyone’s here.”
Nodding and squeezing Yachi’s hand before thinking about what he was still doing, Noya pivoted slightly to look at the rest of the team and they were all looking around for confirmation to start walking past the entrance.
“I’m promise I’m not letting go until we get out of the woods.”
Noya on the other hand was excited about this. The entire team outing had been his and Tanaka’s idea after seeing a flyer advertising the Halloween attraction and proposing the idea to Daichi and Sugawara. So as they walked past the entrance gate and the lights from it began disappearing behind trees and they all followed the designated path, Noya’s head was swiveling around excitedly waiting for the first scare to come out.
